Prompt Recreated prompt

The source didn't share its exact prompt, so we wrote this from what it describes.

Find me an available domain name. Here are the constraints: [CONSTRAINTS, e.g. length, ending such as .com, words to include]. Check that each name is actually free to register before you list it.

Done when: you give me a short list of names that meet every constraint and are available now.

Try this in:

Sends the Recreated prompt shown above. ChatGPT and Grok open with it filled in, and ChatGPT may send it straight away. Gemini opens empty, so we copy the prompt for you to paste. Every button also copies it.

Opens in a new tab. We don't see what you send.

These links are only a shortcut. We're not affiliated with OpenAI, Google or xAI, and your results may not match the source.

Optional stronger version

Our rewrite with extra checks. The poster didn't test it.

Goal: Find an available domain name that fits my constraints.

Inputs (fill in or confirm):
- Project description and keywords
- Constraints (TLDs, length, no hyphens, budget)
- Names I already rejected
- TLDs I'd accept (.com, .io, .co)

Rules:
- Generate candidates and check availability with a registrar.
- Exclude premium-priced names over budget.
- Check for obvious trademark clashes with a quick search.
- Give pronunciation and spelling-risk notes.
- Prefer names that are easy to say aloud and spell after hearing once.
- Check that matching social handles are free for your top three.
- Note the first-year and renewal price for each name.
- Check that each name doesn't clash with an obvious existing brand or trademark.
- Give a one-line reason each name fits the project.

Checkpoint: Don't register or pay for anything.

If you get stuck: If the registrar limits searches, pause and tell me. If a login, CAPTCHA or two-step code appears, stop and ask me to handle it; never guess or store passwords.

Verify before you finish: Re-check availability of your top picks just before reporting.

Output: Top 10 available names with price and notes.

Done when: I have several available, affordable names to choose from.

  • John Helmuth asked both ChatGPT Work and Grok Bot how much time was left on their Ford Explorer loan with Ford Credit. Both first searched email for a statement, found none and went to the Ford Credit site, then got stuck at the login. ChatGPT's secure form didn't work and its cloud browser never showed a keyboard; Grok Bot handed over its cloud browser with a working keyboard, but after Helmuth entered their email and password it stayed stuck on the sign-in screen. After 5 minutes on both, Helmuth logged in on their phone's browser with a passkey and saw the loan terms in about 30 seconds.

The poster says it was the only email the bot flagged and that it saved them $2350.
