Prompt Recreated prompt
The source didn't share its exact prompt, so we wrote this from what it describes.
Here's a task I'd like your help with. Read it all the way through before you start. Goal: Get me home insurance quotes with the same coverage as my current policy, and find the best value. Check with me first: Do I want to keep my current coverage exactly, or am I open to changes? What I'll give you: - My current policy and coverage levels - My property details - Access to my browser, email, and current insurer or mortgage company account, only if I'm comfortable sharing them Rules: - Ask around a dozen insurers for quotes and match my current coverage when comparing. - Only share the personal details each insurer needs for a quote. - If something is missing or unclear, ask me instead of guessing. - Don't buy or cancel any policy. I'll decide and sign up myself. Output: A comparison table of quotes with coverage, price and notes, plus your top two picks. You'll know it worked when: I have a clear cheaper option with the same coverage.

Checkpoint: Don't buy a policy. If you get stuck: If a quote needs a call, list it. If a login, CAPTCHA or two-step code appears, stop and ask me to handle it; never guess or store passwords. Verify before you finish: Check coverage matches. Output: Quote comparison table. Done when: I have like-for-like quotes.

- Compare five homeowner's insurance quotes with ChatGPT and Claude, and learn to check insurers' financial ratings, not BBBRecreated promptEvidence: Described by poster
Natasha Hsi got five homeowner's insurance quotes for a complicated house. They differed on exclusions, wind and named-storm deductibles, and admitted versus surplus-lines insurers, and Hsi found them hard to follow. They fed all five plus their current renewal into ChatGPT and Claude and ran scenarios such as a hurricane loss and a total loss. When Hsi suggested starting with BBB ratings, both pushed back: BBB tracks complaints, while financial strength ratings show whether an insurer can pay after a storm. Hsi took the questions back to their original agent, who returned a better-structured quote at a more reasonable cost with none of the weakly rated insurers.

- Compare two contractor quotes for a driveway and retaining wall with ChatGPT and catch the missing drainageEvidence: Described by posterPartialBeginner-friendly
Jeffrey Trull had two quotes for a driveway extension and retaining wall worth a few thousand dollars, from contractors they'd never used. One was $500 cheaper. They fed both into ChatGPT, which took 5 minutes. It flagged that the cheaper quote didn't mention drainage or backfill, and explained that water building up behind a retaining wall can make it fail; the dearer quote included a full drainage system with stone backfill. It also set out the trade-off between the nicer interlocking blocks and basic cement blocks, and wrote follow-up questions for each contractor, since one quote gave no wall dimensions and the other didn't explain ground prep. Trull planned to take those questions back to both contractors, and to ask the cheaper one to add drainage and backfill, before signing anything.
