Evidence: Described by posterThe person describes what happened in words, without screenshots or video.
Context: Prompt guide: a shared prompt, not a record of a completed task. The example schedule in the post is illustrative. The poster says they're building a product in this area.
Beginner-friendlyNo logins, payments or coding needed. Low risk: paste the prompt and you should get something useful.
Outcome
Claire Calvert shares a setup for parents buried in school communications: either a custom GPT called 'School PA' or a regular chat where you upload emails saved as PDFs, screenshots and forwarded WhatsApp messages each week. The prompt asks ChatGPT to extract every event, highlight parent decisions, tag deadlines by urgency with days remaining, and produce a conflict-free one-page weekly plan, without assuming information that isn't there.

Run this task now, exactly as written below. Everything you need is here, so start straight away and only stop if something required is missing or a rule below tells you to. Goal: Turn this week's school emails, letters and messages into one clear page of what I need to do and decide. Fill in before running: - School emails saved as PDFs, screenshots, and forwarded group messages: [UPLOAD] - My children's names and year groups: [NAMES] - Our existing commitments this week: [CALENDAR] Rules: - Extract every event with day, time and place. - List every decision I need to make, with the deadline and days remaining, most urgent first. - Turn each task into a direct action (form, link, payment, call). - Never assume details that aren't in the messages; mark anything unclear. - Check facts that can change (prices, opening hours, dates, availability, rules) against the official source, and tell me anything you couldn't verify. - Flag any clash between school events and our existing commitments. Output: A one-page weekly summary: schedule, decisions needed, urgent deadlines, and actions. You'll know it worked when: nothing from school is missed and I can act on everything in one sitting. Before you finish: re-read my goal and constraints, check your answer against each one, and list anything you assumed or couldn't confirm.

- Cut a family's grocery spend from $400–$500 every few days to $140 a week with a ChatGPT meal planRecreated promptEvidence: Article or interviewBeginner-friendly
When Brooke Ferrier, a parent of two on the NSW Central Coast, and their partner both lost their jobs, Ferrier asked ChatGPT for a low-cost meal plan for two adults and two toddlers, then refined it with follow-ups: hidden vegetables, low-carb options and no lentils. ChatGPT gave one recipe per meal with variations for each person, compared supermarket prices and produced a categorised shopping list with quantities. A week of breakfasts, dinners and snacks came to $140, against the $400–$500 Ferrier had been spending every four or five days, with much less food thrown out. Ferrier also uses it to find recipes for long-forgotten pantry items.
